Meet Randy
I was born and raised in Los Angeles and graduated from Sonoma State University with a B.A. in English. The Death of Francis Stevens is my first novel. My second novel, A Reason for Dying, is tentatively set for the summer of 2024.
My Stories & Characters
1) Adversity. That’s the core of my stories and characters. How much can my characters endure before overcoming their mental and emotional challenges?
2) The way we verbally tell our stories, are, for the most part, out of order, so I want to write stories that reflect that.
3) What is this person about? Why would he or she do that -- throw a vase, scream, or allow someone to physically and emotionally abuse them? This is what I constantly think about when I create my characters.

I want my novels to show you that I’m not holding anything back, that whatever anger and pain that I wrote with, I want you to feel.
Short Film
Before the #MeToo movement, there was Autumn Plum, a female character who was sexually violated--and, with her best friend, Megan Miller, she seeks revenge on her supposed attacker.
